Western society has demonstrated little or no regard for nature and our dependence upon our natural environment. In the name of progress and the bottom line we are now living in an environment that is polluted. The air and water we depend on is essentially Orisa. To venerate Orisa and Ancestors we must take care of our enviornment which is the body of our mother.
The resultant burden upon the earth has resulted in disruptions we now experience as volcanic eruptions, floods, forest fires, tornados, eqrth quakes and other natural disasters. In an attemp to right the wrongs that have been done, HATTAF organizes specific nature veneration ceremonies. These activities include but are not limited to the Osun Festivals in Sacramento, California and Osogbo, Nigeria; the Ifa Costal Ritual Vigil in Florida and San Francisco. Dates of events are dictated by tradition and divination.
